Terms of Service

The service

DetailProQuote is subscription software that helps detailing businesses collect quote requests, calculate suggested prices from rules they configure, publish customer-facing quote pages and track leads and follow-ups. It is provided as a hosted service at detailproquote.app. We provide the tool; we are not a party to any agreement between a detailing business and its own customers.

Accounts

You need an account to use DetailProQuote. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account, including anyone you allow to use it. You must provide accurate business information and keep it up to date.

Quotes and pricing

Suggested quote amounts are calculated from the pricing rules you enter, and you can change the final amount before publishing. You are solely responsible for the prices you publish, the work you agree to, and any tax or legal obligations arising from it. An accepted quote in DetailProQuote records that a customer agreed to a price; it does not collect, verify or guarantee payment for that work.

What we do and do not process

DetailProQuote charges detailing businesses for their software subscription, and those subscription payments are processed by Stripe. DetailProQuote does not process payments between a detailing business and its own customers. Your customers pay you directly, by whatever method you arrange with them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to send unsolicited messages, to collect information you are not entitled to collect, to impersonate another business, to interfere with the service or its security measures, or to attempt to access another account's data.

Trial, plans and billing

You can create an account and set up a workspace without a payment card. The 14-day trial begins only when you choose a paid plan and provide a payment method. The first monthly charge is made when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Plans are then billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store or see your card details. Your plan determines what your account can do — for example, the Starter plan allows a set number of quote requests per calendar month.

You can cancel at any time from Manage Billing in your dashboard, which opens Stripe's billing portal. If you cancel during the trial, access continues through the trial end date and no first charge is made. After billing begins, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and paid access continues until then.

If a payment fails, we show a warning in your account with a link to update your card. Stripe may retry a failed payment. If it remains unpaid, paid features may be paused. If you do not activate a plan, your data is retained and you can still sign in, but new public quote requests are paused until a plan is selected. Accounts and data are not deleted for non-payment without notice.

We do not operate a published refund policy. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.

Your data and your customers' data

You keep ownership of the business information, customer records, quotes and pricing you put into DetailProQuote. You grant us permission to store and process that information so we can provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store information about your own customers and for handling it lawfully. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

Our intellectual property

The DetailProQuote software, name, design and content remain ours. Your subscription gives you the right to use the service, not to copy, resell, rebrand or reverse engineer it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but it is provided as-is and we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops, and we will avoid removing functionality your plan depends on without notice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost business, lost profits, lost data or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You may stop using the service at any time, cancel your plan from Manage Billing, and ask us to remove your account and records. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or uses the service unlawfully.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
